Description

ChromaGun VR is a first person puzzler about colors, exclusively for PlayStation VR, with support for the Aim Controller. The basic principle is as easy as applying it is complex: Exit the chambers via the exit doors. Use the ChromaGun to colorize walls and WorkerDroids to progress in the chambers. WorkerDroids (the players’ main cause of headaches in ChromaGun) are attracted to walls of the same color and can be used for a variety of tasks like opening doors, activating triggers or removing the danger of deadly electrified floor-tiles by mercilessly sacrificing them. ChromaGun VR encompasses eight chapters of mind-melting puzzles and witty background-narrative.

History

The idea for ChromaGun came during the game jam Ludum Dare 32. The game was created in only three days as a traditional puzzler (flat, non-VR). Ever since, we've improved on the concept to deliver the game we're now publishing for PS VR. After a bunch of updates across various platforms, which gradually improved on the game one by one, we finally brought ChromaGun to the PS4 in August 2017. The reception was fantastic, and we received tons of feedback about bringing the game to PS VR. So, after the launch, we immediately began development of the VR port – up until the release on 19 Feb 19 – three years and three days after ChromaGun’s original launch on 16 Feb 16.
